School Programs

(Following are some examples of our programs. More programs are gradually being reinstated since covid restrictions are no longer required.)

Concerts and Plays

 

Hermiston Adventist School provides three stage performances each year. 

  • Our Christmas Concert is in the month of December and is a musical program featuring handbells/chimes and violin/orchestra.  This is a sacred concert.
  • We do a Spring Concert in May again featuring the handbells/chimes and violin/orchestra.  This program is musical in nature and may be sacred or secular in the choice of songs.

Other Programs

 

In addition to the concerts and plays, we have some other programs where the community is invited.

  • International Food Fair -  Food is provided at various booths and focuses on foods from around the world.  Students learn about the foods in specific areas of the world, and then their families and other helpers prepare the food.

Winter Festival

 

In February, we have a Winter Festival.  This is food and fun, games and entertainment.  The festival is on a Sunday and runs for several hours.  Home and School sponsors the event and the proceeds go to help fund educational needs.
